Public Health Management Corporation is hosting a free asynchronous Community Health Worker (CHW) training for individuals interested in becoming certified. Over 13 weeks, participants will gain the skills they need to prepare for a certification as a CHW. The training is online and at your own pace, covers all nine of the CHW core competencies required by the Pennsylvania Certification Board and helps prepare participants to gain their CHW certification. PHMC offers a stipend for eligible participants to wave barriers associated with higher education. The program also offers appreciation and placement opportunities for participants who complete it.
