On Monday, Aug. 19, Esperanza Health Center hosted U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) for a press conference to announce $464,000 in federal funding that Sen. Casey secured for the expansion of their Fifth Street site. This project, scheduled to be completed by the Summer of 2025, will bring a new group room, additional patient exam rooms, an expanded waiting area, and a new elevator, allowing Esperanza to serve 50-60% more patients each year.
