NACHC Chief Science Officer Dr. Peter Shin and Chief Policy Officer Joe Dunn spoke to C-SPAN about the critical role Community Health Centers play in addressing America’s primary care needs. Despite serving 32.5 million Americans (10% of the U.S. population), CHCs only represent roughly 1% of our nation’s total annual healthcare spend. Health centers have had bipartisan support for more than 60 years, and they continue to work with policymakers to ensure that they can carry out their mission to care for their patients.
