For the first time in several years, the Laurel Health Center team gathered for an all-staff meeting, with plans for quarterly meetings to follow. Cheri Rinehart, President and CEO of PACHC was the guest speaker and discussed what an FQHC is, the mission, the requirements, the key role FQHCs play, the landscape and some of the key issues the community of Community Health Centers is facing, both at the state level and nationally.
