Help us welcome our newest PACHC member and Chief Financial Officer, Carl A. Sizer III! Many of you may recognize Carl from his work at Primary Health Network (PHN), one of Pennsylvania’s largest CHCs. What you may not know is Carl is a Certified Public Accountant, experienced financial leader, and graduate of Penn State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a minor in Economics in 2011. Carl started his career in public accounting on the audit team at Arnet Carbis Toothman (now, Baker Tilly). He spent six years servicing clients in the health care industry and rose to the Manager level. In 2017, Carl joined Primary Health Network as Assistant Controller, and in 2020 was elevated to Chief Financial Officer. During his nearly nine years at PHN, Carl focused on process improvement, policy and culture building, several large revenue recoupment projects, service growth initiatives, and complex financing arrangements. Carl serves on several Boards in Mercer County, including Treasurer of Buhl Park Corporation, and City Council for the City of Sharon. He is excited to join the PACHC team and continue to move the mission of the organization and all community health centers forward
