Strengthening Healthcare’s Response to Domestic Violence in Community Health Centers – Session 1
Join PACHC and the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence for a three-part webinar series titled “Strengthening Healthcare’s Response to Domestic Violence in Community Health Centers”. All health center employees, clinical and non-clinical are invited to participate. Attendees must register for each session individually:
- Session 1: “Every Patient, Every Time: Building a Safe Space for Domestic Violence Screening” (April 28, 11 am – 12:30 pm). Registration is available.
Objective: Lay the foundation for why and how domestic violence screening should occur in community health clinics.
- Session 2: “Moving Beyond the Question: Providing Care and Making Meaningful Referrals” (July 30, 12 – 1:30 pm). Registration is available.
Objective: Strengthen providers’ effectiveness, even in time-limited situations, and build relationships with local domestic violence programs.
- Session 3: “Special Topics in Domestic Violence and Healthcare” (Aug. 25, 11am – 12:30pm). Registration is available.
Objective: Deepen understanding of how domestic violence intersects with other health needs and apply this knowledge across roles.
