Lunch & Learn: Introduction to the PA Primary Care Office
Pennsylvania FQHCs and LALs are invited to join us for this complimentary webinar, Lunch & Learn: Introduction to the PA Primary Care Office, being held on Tuesday, June 23 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
Like every state and territory has a Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) funded Primary Care Association (PCA) like PACHC, there is also a Primary Care Office (PCO). In Pennsylvania, the PCO is located within the Department of Health. The PCO’s mission is to increase access to primary care in areas of Pennsylvania with limited access to care. This is accomplished with workforce incentives such as J1 Visa Waivers and loan repayment programs through both the state and the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), grants for expansion of community-based health care, and establishment of Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs). This presentation aims to provide an overview of the programs managed by the PCO, how these programs can assist your community health center, and how to access these programs.
Note: Because this webinar is free and available to Pennsylvania FQHCs and LALs, your registration will be pending until eligibility is confirmed and your attendance is approved by a PACHC staff member. If you are eligible, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to “Join Webinar.”
