Behavioral Health Suicide Prevention Training
This webinar will provide specific training and information geared for behavioral health providers practicing in primary care settings. Many behavioral health providers have never received training on how to identify, assess, and care for patients at risk for suicide as part of their professional training. This training will focus on evidence-based interventions and techniques for assessing risk, restricting access to lethal means, and safety planning. Suicide rates are increasing in communities across the country, and the ability for behavioral health providers to care for them will help in reducing stress among behavioral health providers and suicide rates nationally. This training is free to members and $50 for non-members. Registration is forthcoming.
