2024 CFO Boot Camp
PACHC CFO Training: Revenue Cycle Management & 340B
TRAINING DESCRIPTION
Community Health Centers (CHCs) play a crucial role in providing affordable healthcare services to underserved populations. The 340B Drug Pricing Program is a valuable program that enables CHCs to stretch scare resources and improve patient access to medications. However, the 340B Program is currently facing numerous challenges, including regulating changes, restrictions imposed by manufacturers, and complex compliance requirements. Navigating these challenges can be daunting for organizations participating in the 340B Program. Our comprehensive 4-hour Bootcamp presentation is designed to equip CHCs with the knowledge and tools needed to successfully navigate the 340B Program. We will provide an in-depth overview of the program, discuss the pillars of compliance, and offer insights into Medicaid billing and preparing for HRSA audits. Participating will also learn about internal oversight and controls, profitability tracking, 340B savings tools, contract pharmacy networks, and strategic approaches to maximizing the benefits of the program. Additionally, we will explore advocacy efforts and provide an outlook on the future of the 340B Program.
By gaining a solid understanding of the 340B Program, CHCs can enhance their ability to comply with program requirements, optimize savings, and continue to provide essential healthcare services to their communities.
Revenue Cycle Management
As they say, “Cash is king!” It’s also the lifeblood of a CHC. The revenue cycle process is critical to delivering care to your communities. From the time a patient walks through the door to the money hitting the bank account, CHCs need sound patient in-take, billing, and cash-collection policies and procedures. It’s also essential to monitor your progress and communicate key performance indicators to various audiences. This training is designed to highlight best practices in these areas, provide example policies and procedures, and share tracking tools to help you improve your revenue.
