Susan D. Stukes, DDS, has been hired by the Covenant House board of directors as CEO of the Philadelphia health center. Dr. Stukes is not new to the community of Community Health Centers or to Covenant House. Her experience includes serving as director of dental services and then division director of dental services at Covenant House since 2012 and prior to that as network dental director for Family Practice and Counseling Network, another Philadelphia FQHC. A graduate of Howard University’s Doctor of Dental Surgery program, Dr. Stukes has been recognized for her work in maternal health, supporting women’s and children’s rights and correctional health care.
